KEVIN KELLER (Composer)

Composer and pianist KEVIN KELLER has created a unique body of original work that Keyboard Magazine's Titus Levi once described as "the feeling of doors opening, of discovering the possibility of transport, and of viewing new spaces and atmospheres." Since 1989, Keller has released 8 full-length recordings of original music, bringing together acoustic and electronic instruments in a profoundly personal style. As a live performer, he has presented multi-media concerts in such venues as the Morrison Planetarium and Presidio Park in San Francisco, combining live video, lighting, and projections to create a "total immersion" experience for the audience. Moving to New York City in 2003 brought to reality Keller's long held desire to work with modern dance, and collaborations with choreographers Mariana Bekerman, Kathleen Dyer, and Martita Goshen helped bring Keller's music to a wider audience. Most recently, Keller has received commissions from Dwight Rhoden/Complexions, Elisa Monte, and the Amy Marshall Dance Company. http://www.kevinkeller.com/
